Take a sheet of paper 21.5 cm by 28 cm. Regular printer paper will do. The notebook paper is too thin for this object.

Fold the top right corner over the left edge of the paper. Make sure the top edge of the paper lines up with the left edge of the paper. The folded part will form a triangle, leaving a rectangular part below it. Make sure the edges line up nicely and that you run your finger along the crease you created.

Cut out the rectangular part. With a pair of scissors, cut the rectangular part that was left under the triangle. Then unfold the triangle revealing a square of paper. You will use this paper to make the blade of your knife.

Fold the paper lengthwise 3-4 times. This way you will have a blade for your knife that is 2.5 to 5cm thick. It will now have the shape of a stick.

Cut your paper at an angle at either end. Cut your paper at an angle to simulate the edge of a kitchen knife.
